My name is Tasha Mero and I’m a recent college grad, trying to  live out my dream of owning my own print magazine.

I was born and raised in Hawaii and at a young age, I unknowingly experienced my interest for journalism in middle school. This interest then continued into my high school and college career.

When I attended the University of Hawaii at Mānoa, I was enrolled in the journalism program and also wrote for the campus newspaper. I was also an executive board member for SPJ, UH Mānoa’s journalism chapter.

In Spring 2014, I was an intern at Oahu Publications Inc. in their magazines division.
